Emerging R&B/Hip-Hop Artist King Brian

Brian Christopher Brown, aka “King Brian,” is an American singer, songwriter, dancer, author, filmmaker, and producer. King Brian has been singing and dancing since he was four years old, throwing solo dance performances for his pre-school teachers and classmates. Since then, he’s never stopped loving the performance aspect of music!

He grew up in Southeastern Michigan, where his interests in music grew further as a result of hearing the music of greats such as Michael Jackson, Tupac Shakur, and Prince. He wrote his first hip-hop lyrics at the age of 13, which dealt with his day-to-day life as a kid, as well as the hardships of African-Americans in the United States. His songwriting acumen only grew as he became older, and his music developed into an all-encompassing channel for his desire to be an inspiration and a catalyst for positive transformation worldwide.

            King Brian is known for his intricate and erudite songwriting, powerful and silky voice, and dynamic stage presence. His music is a melodic fusion of hip-hop, contemporary pop, and R&B, which contain mesmerizing melodies, entertaining and relatable themes, intricate lyrics, and tantalizing wordplay.

His 6’5” stature commands attention on stage, and he’s performed live for audiences and in front of cameras since 2012. Musically, he possesses the lyricism and poetic intensity of an MC, while displaying strong vocals and colorful riffs present in both popular and classic R&B and pop music.

            King Brian’s eight years of experience and counting as a professionally trained and active audio engineer only adds on to his musical ear as a singer and a producer. Additionally, his 13 years of professional experience and education in video production and editing has helped to refine his visual creative abilities to match his sound.

His debut EP, “Reverse The Curse,” released in 2017, and served as a worthy introduction to his unique singing and writing style. His finger is on the pulse of the collective’s need for new and exciting music, and he’s ready to deliver!

He is also an author, who has written 3 compelling books.
